Bootcamp comes to euphoria fitness club

For the first time we introduce a little something different, an out door

bootcamp, all our troops ended up all over Carrickfergus doing some tough,

kick ass as well as weird exercise but such fun was had by all those who took

part, from woodburn dams, to the Knockagh the camp was fab, originally

planned for 6weeks but ended up lasting over 12.

Uneven playing field for gyms nation wide.

euphoria fitness club joins the fight for a fairer playing field in the battle between public and private gyms. If you are passionate about your gym, join this worthy campaign against the unfair treatment of private gyms to those run by councils.

Privatley run fitness club have and continue to be singled out, when local authority gyms continue to get free run, did you know that all council run gyms pay no vat? whilst all private gyms do? it's happening and is crippling all private gyms, small and large one's, the sheer amount the local authorities get from clubs around the country not just local but national is redicuclus, not just from vat bills but in relation to rates and council ad on fees.

Why we feel passionate about No VAT 4 Gyms

We are as passionate as you to campaign against the huge expense that VAT places upon gyms and health clubs across the UK. These businesses provide the ability to save the government money if only we could get their ear to listen.

Each year the average gym pays £43,750 in VAT
(Based upon a turnover of £250,000)

The best way for us to get this huge business-crippling issue to the front door of No10 is to all join together and say "No VAT 4 Gyms". This is especially important with the forthcoming VAT rise from the 4th Jan 2011 to 20%.

The cost of physical inactivity in the Uk has been estimated to be in billions each year

Together we will be a bigger voice that will be heard loud and clear that the backbone of this country is small business but more importantly gym and health businesses will save the government money if given the chance to re-invest to attract more members by being able to:

  • Invest in new equipment and club refurbishment
  • Invest in more staff training to deal with the changing dynamics of our members requirements
  • Invest in additional staff to provide a closer VIP service for our members
  • Invest in state of the art technology to better manage my business
  • Invest to ensure the continued retention of our members
  • Invest in pricing strategies to ensure that our membership costs are as accessible as possible to attract new members.
  • Invest to look at opportunities where gym membership prices could come down or not be increased.
  • Invest in marketing and advertising to attract new members overall increasing the UK membership.
